SMS Messaging Terms & Opt-In
Program: RestaurantIQ Notifications · Last updated: June 29, 2026
RestaurantIQ, operated by TechTrove Software Solutions LLC, is an AI phone-ordering service for restaurants. As part of the service, RestaurantIQ sends transactional SMS text messages on behalf of the restaurants that use it. This page describes the messaging program, exactly how recipients opt in (give consent), and your rights. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
1. Who receives messages & what we send (transactional only)
- Callers — people who phone a restaurant that uses RestaurantIQ and place a pickup or takeout order. They may receive an order confirmation text with their order number, total, and pickup time, and an optional order-ready notification.
- Restaurant owners — the businesses that subscribe to RestaurantIQ. They may receive account and order notifications about their own account (for example, a new order alert).
All messages are transactional and tied to a specific action the recipient took. There is no marketing content.
2. How you opt in (consent)
There are two opt-in paths, depending on who you are:
Path A — Restaurant owners (at sign-up)
When a restaurant owner signs up for RestaurantIQ at restaurantiq.tektrovesolutions.com, the sign-up form collects their business mobile number and shows a separate, unchecked consent checkbox. The owner gives active consent by checking the box, which reads:
“I agree to receive transactional SMS from RestaurantIQat the number above — account and order notifications about my account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”
The box is unchecked by default and is not required to create an account; the owner must actively check it to opt in.
Path B — Callers (during the call)
When you call a restaurant that uses RestaurantIQ, the AI host discloses that it is an AI and that the call may be recorded. When you place a pickup order, the host confirms the mobile number to use for order updates — for example, “Is the number you're calling from good for order updates?” Confirming your number for this purpose is your opt-in to receive a confirmation text about that order. Your verbal consent is recorded in the call transcript.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity (e.g., when you place an order). These are one-off, event-driven messages — not a recurring campaign.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. RestaurantIQdoes not charge you for receiving these texts; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
5. Opt-out & help
You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@riqmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Privacy
Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for details.
