Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the Terms & Conditions between the restaurant (“Controller”) and TechTrove Software Solutions LLC (“Processor”, operating RestaurantIQ) and applies where we process personal data on the Controller's behalf.

1. Roles

The restaurant is the Controller of personal data about its callers and customers. RestaurantIQis the Processor and processes that data only to provide the service and on the Controller's documented instructions (including these Terms).

2. Nature & purpose of processing

Answering calls, transcribing and structuring orders, sending transactional order confirmations, displaying the kitchen dashboard, and related support and reliability functions.

3. Types of data & data subjects

Caller name, mobile number, and order details; restaurant account and menu information. Data subjects are the restaurant's callers/customers and the restaurant's authorized users.

4. Subprocessors

We engage vetted subprocessors (telephony, AI, payments, email, and hosting) under written terms with confidentiality and security obligations. The current list is published at Subprocessors.

5. Security

We maintain technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation.

6. Data subject requests, retention & deletion

We assist the Controller in responding to data subject requests and, on termination, delete or return personal data except where retention is required by law.
